I am a South African photographer living and working in south-western Ontario. My professional work focuses primarily on creating evocative fashion and portrait photographs. I also have a deep love for landscape photography. How I approach capturing landscapes very much informs my fashion and portrait work; it takes patience and attention to every detail to see past the obvious and create an image that holds its own. I see photography as a kind of meditation, and the act of making a photograph as an internal conversation that takes place in the liminal space between thought and action. This mindset allows me to see how the image can rise above and resonate with audiences.
